“Noah to base””over and out” “over and out “ “over and out”. My ears were ringing with the same words over and over again and Karina’s voice “that will do. Thank you”.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      That's not all we did on the radios though. Firstly we learnt how to use them properly. Then we got sent to different areas by karina and stew, from Civil Defense. They were staying at base so we could call in and get an answer. I thought it super funny that you could hear everyone talking. I heard that someone who needed to find something starting    with C. And guess what they yelled straight away “CACTUS” yes thats right cactus and you would most likely not going to find a cactus in the wild bush of New Zealand as Gear Brylls would say.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           So that basically sums up Civil Defense radios except Lucy wouldn't budge so we had to leave her behind which was unlikely for her because after     that we were lucky enough  to go to building shelters which was so awesome.                                    “Over and out”.
